Academic Staff
At IHM Business School, students are taught by the business community for the business community.
We seek out and carefully select people with long hands-on experience of leading positions in the private sector – people who also have a sound theoretical foundation and the ability to share their knowledge and experience in a vibrant, motivational way. This means that students are taught by people who have an extensive, genuine insight into business in the modern age. Our academic staff are not teachers in the traditional sense of the word, but rather guides or mentors.
Thanks to close relations with students, companies, business partners and academic staff, we have a continuous influx of up-to-date knowledge of conditions in the business community, which tells us how competence development requirements are evolving in the short and long term. To keep fully up to date and play an active part in this development, we also collaborate with universities, colleges and industry organisations internationally.
The principle behind our approach is to release the potential for individual development by collecting, applying and exchanging knowledge and experience-based exercises, realistic decision-making situations and reflective teaching elements.
