Business Executive Degree

A DEGREE FOR PROFESSIONALS

Business Executive Degree is an internationally valid degree at university level for those who have or are about to enter a position of commercial responsibility.

In order for you to have practical use of the knowledge you learn, the courses in the Business Executive-package are anchored to your and the other participants' business operations. It is important mainly for two reasons:

CHOOSE ORIENTATION

To graduate as a Marketing Economist, you study four six-month semesters. With a general education program and two optional specialized programs, you strengthen your and your company's competitiveness in the field you find most interesting.

The study time is around 6 hours a week, usually 13.00 - 19.00 one day a week. In addition, there are studies and exercises in addition to the lessons. You choose yourself whether you want to study at your IHM location or digitally based.

In total, the degree comprises at least 13 sub-qualifications which are distributed within the various educational programmes.

SEMESTER 1: START WITH BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

The basis for making the right business choice is insight into what customers want and what creates profitability. We want to give you that security if you have or are about to enter a position of commercial responsibility.

Therefore, we begin with Business Management, which provides a basic understanding of what is included in a profitable business operation.

SEMESTER 2-3: CHOOSE A SPECIALIZATION

After Business Management, you deepen and specialize your knowledge with two optional courses during the second and third semester. Choose from these:

• Business Finance
• Growth and Marketing Strategy
• Sales and Marketing Management
• Projekt Management
• Operational Management

SEMESTER 4: FINISH WITH STRATEGIC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

In the last semester, you train in methodically running business development projects around new or existing business opportunities in your business.

The business development project is the decisive test of your skills in professional business development.
