The Advanced Vocational Education Diploma

IHM Business College is the collective name for IHM's Advanced Vocational Education programmes as commissioned by the Swedish government.

All teaching is in Swedish.

Depending on the focus area, an IHM Business School qualification provides the graduate with the necessary knowledge to work with advanced tasks in marketing, finance, sales and project management. The programmes have been designed for students with limited professional experience of the selected field who wish to study full time. The programmes include long-term work placements. The various study subjects are broad in nature and provide students with wide-ranging applicable knowledge, giving them a good foundation for a future career in a variety of professional roles.

Workplace Learning - a major opportunity for your company

One-third of the study programme is spent learning in the workplace. There are two sevenweek periods for 40-week programmes,and three nine-week periods for 80-week programmes. The host company specifi es which work duties the student will be carrying out, and appoints a contact person to act as a sponsor during the spell at the workplace. The workplace learning aspect is structured in such a way that students fulfi l a full-time role, both as full work resources and as active observers as they have a study task to work on.
